Financial Arrangement and Insurance Information

The cost of Bariatric surgery is variable depending on the individual insurance company a patient has. Within each company, there are many different plans. Therefore, the cost to each patient may vary. In general, the negotiated contract rates for surgery cover services directly related to the operation and any “routine” postoperative care provided in the immediate postoperative period. This will vary from between 45 and 90 days after your surgery. You will be responsible for any co-pay or co-insurance that is associated with your plan.

Sierra Bariatric Surgery is currently accepting most insurance plans. In addition, we will accept cash-paying patients at a substantially reduced rate. Unfortunately, due to factors out of our control, we are unable to accept Medi-cal, Aetna, Hill Physicians, Cigna and Medicare.
